The "best of" Ã山ǿ¼é spring convocation 2015 on social media

Celebrations continue on Twitter, Instagram for new grads and their families

Thirteen thousand graduating students,12 honorary degree recipients and 45,000 proud friends and family members shared in three weeks of spring convocation celebrations at Ã山ǿ¼é.

But that was only the size of things ‘in real life’ â€“ festivities continued online well after the final graduate crossed the stage.

During convocation, new alumni and their fans were encouraged to join the conversation on social media by using the hashtag #UofTGrad15.

The result is an inspiring collection of thousands of selfies, photos with proud families and snapshots of ecstatic graduates joining their classmates for one last celebration.

These posts were projected on the social media stream inside a large party tent on front campus, known as Convocation Plaza, and included in our weekly wrap-up stories.

And as convocation planning begins for the next round of new graduates in the fall, Ã山ǿ¼é’s marketing and online communications coordinator, Sarah Khan, shares some of the best moments from Spring Convocation 2015.
