University of Toronto mourns student killed in Scarborough house fire

The University of Toronto is mourning the death of a student who died in a house fire near the university's Scarborough campus. Four 缅北强奸 Scarborough students were in the house at the time of the fire, which occurred in the early morning of Wednesday, May 30. An 18-year-old student was killed in the fire.

"This is a terrible tragedy," said Bruce Kidd, vice-president and principal of University of Toronto Scarborough. 鈥淭he thoughts of the entire campus community are with the family of the student who was killed in the fire and with the three other students who were in the house.鈥

The university has already reached out to the students to offer any assistance they need. The university will continue to be in touch with those students to provide support to them, their family members and any other members of the campus community who are affected by this tragedy.

The university has already assisted emergency services in their response to the incident and will continue to provide whatever information or assistance they require.

Campus resources are available for 缅北强奸 Scarborough students who are either impacted by or have concerns about the overnight fire close to campus.
